PROFESSOR OF LITERARY THEORY

Jürgen Pieters teaches literary studies courses at the Language and Literature program at Ghent University. He also teaches a course on 'Literature and Criticism' at the Master's degree in Comparative Modern Literature. He has many years of experience as a critic for magazines (Nieuw Wereldtijdschrift, Yang, Ons Erfdeel, De Leeswolf) and newspapers (De Morgen, De Standaard). He writes about books for Doorbraak every two weeks.
