Together with the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) we are programming a sub-theme on each conference day around ‘Narrative Medicine’. Based on the premise that narrative skills, storytelling and personal approach can be seen as a necessary counterbalance to the dehumanizing nature of technology. Our aim is to get scientists, doctors, artists, storytellers and the audience to discuss the importance of social science within the field of medical innovations.
